Now I'm Really Sorry That I Forced Her to Finish Her Taco

The kids are in bed and I'm finishing up the dishes from dinner with the water running and the garbage disposal being obnoxious. I'm just making all kinds of racket and can't hear some drama unfolding upstairs. Mr. Farklepants enters the family room behind me and sits on the couch.

"Your daughter just threw up." (Why is he getting comfortable?)

"And you just left her there?"

"Well, it's gross."

"And YOU LEFT HER THERE?"

"Go!"

"God dammit"

Your daughter? I hope he's comfortable on the new, beautiful sofa tonight. :-)

I was wondering the same thing....isn't it amazing how when they poop/ throw up / make a mess /do anything slightly gross...they suddenly become "your" son/daughter?!?!
Was it too messy getting his head out of the garbage disposal?!?!
:-D

Your daughter, your bed, your new couch...

That leaves a dog house for the Mr. who can't help with the kids.

And I hope she's feeling better soon. Nasty flu.

the best thing about blogging is that now we (women) know we are not alone.

Um. No. Though usually if Mr. Daddy tries to clean up that kind of stuff I just get po'd anyway cause he's not doing it "right."

Hope she's feeling better soon.

That's wrong on so many levels. The witness should always be required to help clean up the scene of the crime. Always.

Mr. Farkelpants is a lucky man. My hubs has vomit duty if he's home. If not, then I suffer through.

My hubby pulls the "your daughter" thing, too. What's up?? And 99.9% of the time it's better if I just clean up the damn mess myself.

Hope she's feeling better!

I know this kind of love between husband and wife. Very, very well.

Seriously. "My kids" whenever there is a mess. To be fair, they're "his kids" whenever they're acting sassy.

Some people just can't handle vomit. It is a known fact. Luckily you can. Or...that's what Mr. Farklepants will have you believe.
