What I Really Saw During the Class Play

Boy-Child#2's (pictured center) third grade Thanksgiving play. He was Chief Massasoit.

Or better yet: Chief I Wanna Cowabunga; because is it just me or do those Indians look a lot like - surfers? And those pilgrims look a lot like - smitten kittens?

And Chief I Wanna Cowabunga is like, all I need are some tasty waves and then I'll get my grub on. Oh, the ladies? I get that all the time, brah.

That might be one of my favorite pictures ever. That kid on the far right looks like a totally stoned Indian Surfer Dude. Awesome.

I love the boy on the far right. So squinty and all "I'm NOT gonna laugh at the silliness of it all . . .!"

My son's fourth grade musical is tonight. I'll see if I can get a cool shot . . .

They do look sort of like little surfers. I hope you don't have your hands full with that one and all the girls that will be drooling all over his surfer indian self. hehehe

The look on the first girl to the left's face is priceless. You're in trouble. Or maybe he is. I fear this age and shall rejoice in my not-even-two-yet boy's freedom from the bothersome gals!

The real question is, how are we gonna get Sean Penn to play a third grade chief?

This is fantastic! I quite love how the pilgrim girls apparently had some type of costume requirements, and it was whatever goes on the boys.

That is definitely a "click to enlarge" photo. Hilarious.

At least they're small enough to beat off of him now. It might get a little more tough as they get bigger...

You do that too? Make up alternate story lines to keep yourself entertained during school functions? I have a really special one for all the women that get out of their cars to run around & socialize via car hopping in their "fresh from the gym" get ups during car line after school! It does make for good blog fodder though!

Your little Chief Cowabunga is def going to be a heart throb, I recommend you go ahead and set timers on the phone ringers now - it's inevitable!
