The Answer To Her Question Is: No

So, I'm flipping though my Allure magazine and a reader writes in wanting to know if tinted moisturizer will provide enough coverage. The 'expert' answers that if it doesn't seem to then apply some concealer on the areas that need more coverage after applying the tinted moisturizer. And if this still isn't enough then play around with mixing a liquid foundation and facial moisturizer until the shade and coverage works for you and make enough to keep in a bottle. This sounds like an awful lot of work and I've got two words for the reader: buy foundation.

Amen! They need someone like you answering those questions. You could have just answered, "nope!" and saved them ink and paper.

I hear you! Go minimal, there's more to life than applying and playing with make-up. Get it on and get going already!

LOL! You need an advice column, Tootsie! You tell it like it is.

That would be an awfully short article though, wouldn't it? Common sense rocks!

I am going to have to completely agree with you on this one.

You need to start doing a weekly beauty advice column. I'm totally serious. I'll even give you your first question:

Matching mom and daughter pajamas. Supa-cute or supa-dork?

Wait, I've got another question: What color eye shadow is best for blue eyes?

Heh. That's great. Straight and simple advice.

Yours, that is.

I'd love my own column!

BBM~ I'll get on that! It's funny, when I first started Vintage Thirty it was solely a beauty/fashion advice blog. Then I got bored. But I could work in a weekly advice thing. Starting with your questions, of course.

I agree, you should have a column, your answer is way better :-)

I could come up with enough questions to keep you busy for MONTHS, woman. Other (braver) souls might be able to come up with photos for you to critique.

LOL! You would think the person with the question would be smart enough to figure that out herself.

I sometimes wonder if the magazines make up their own "readers questions" just so that they can have a long, drawn out answer and sound all smart.
