Maybe They're With Those Missing Socks?

For the most part, I enjoy using Blogger. It is idiot user friendly and I am one that needs just such an attribute when it comes to technical things. I also realize that Blogger is considered somewhat amateur. Someday when I grow more capable up I will acquire and require a more mature host. In the meantime, I would really appreciate it if Blogger would stop sucking my pictures into some abyss. Often I will go back to a post for one reason or another and find a box where a picture once was. I know Blogger probably doesn't give a rat's fig about this. However, I do put a great deal of time and effort into uploading appropriate images to accompany my commentary. First there is the picture selection that takes forever time. Followed by the uploading and subsequent cutting and pasting into the appropriate line of the entry so that it all makes sense! Particularly when the blog post is ABOUT THE PICTURE! So, Blogger, if you stop doing this I will supress the urge to punch you in your stupid head. Thanks. Love, Tootsie.

I'm sure Blogger tech support got right on your request. They should be done fixing the glitch any minute now.

Or now.

Or now.

OMG-I had this same problem with blogger. It was a formatting hell. I'm on typepad now, but still ocasionally have technical difficulties. Wouldn't it be nice if someone (WHOSE JOB IT IS TO FIGURE THIS CRAP OUT) would just FIX IT, so the Creative Types could get on with their blog?

I've had this happen too, but I wasn't so clever about my customer service request. I more just assumed i had done something wrong.

I think it has something to do with how you upload your pictures. I was trying to upload something from Flickr one time and I could see it, but other people couldn't.

Occasionally I think about moving my blog to wordpress or typepad, but basically I'm just too lazy.

I can't even figure out how to do the strikethrough.
Really, how do you do that?

And that is why I upload my photos to photobucket and not blogger. Well that, and it's the only way I manage to backup up my photos. A twofer!

I had planned to move to wordpress ages ago, but I can't get a pretty template to work there. Grr . . .

You mean to say that Blogger is probably deleting all of my pictures too. BOO!

I, too, would one day like a more sophisticated host but I would probably have to have some clue as to what I am doing first and that seems highly unlikely.

While you're kicking blogger's ass could you throw a punch for me over the lack of spellcheck lately...?

Can you find out what the hell they did with spell check while you're at it? WTF?

I was wondering WTF happened to all of Dorothy's great pictures... I went back to look at them again and all there were was stupid boxes

I'm using Firefox so it automatically does spell check. I was unaware there was an issue with Blogger about that. Figures.

kam~ I'll go back this weekend and upload them again. They're worth seeing! I'm so glad you're commenting, btw! I love you!

bunny bunster~ to do the strike out of a word go here: http://www.bloggingbasics101.com/101/2007/01/how_do_i_cross_.html
I use the word strike instead of del that they use, but it works just the same. I tried to just show you here but the comments won't allow the code.

AMEN! Maybe your pictures are with the missing spell check Blogger feature and a few random socks from your dryer.

And the word verification thingy that was just MISSING...OMG, it never ends...
