We Pause for this Moment of Awwwww...

There is a six year and nine month age difference between Boy-Child#1 and Girl-Child. They rarely bicker. They will never attend the same school. They will never share the same friends [except all those crushes she will have on all the hot guys he'll bring home one day]. He is kind, patient, helpful, giving, protective, ...fill in positive attribute here... with his little sister. In return, she worships the ground he walks on. Not only does she think that he's the greatest thing that ever lived; she also thinks he's very comfortable. Big brothers make the best pillows.

That is abfab and super cute.

I wish my girls would sleep on each other quietly like that.

I just walked in on my oldest playing "Barber" with my youngest.

Parenting tip: Kitchen shears do not good haircuts make.

Well, in Whoville they say that the Grinch's small heart grew three sizes that day.

So very sweet. My oldest and youngest are the two that get along the best. Big brother and little sister, 7 years apart. (It just occurs to me, what was wrong with MY brothers??)

If my kids hadn't JUST come in to sing me a lullaby they made up, I would say that was the sweetest thing I've seen all day.

Very awwwww-worthy.

cuties. did people ever tell you they would never be close? did it annoy you?

my boys are almost four years apart and they are very very close. people would actually say "that's to bad they are so far apart."

they don't say that now.

That's awesome. I always thought having a big brother would be great. Mine was 6 years behind the youngest girl and is a spoiled brat whose job in life was to torture his big sisters.

Is it too late to stuff one of my 15YO twins "back in the bun oven" and make him or her come out a few years later than the first? I'm still waiting for mine to get along....this photo is adorable!

Wow - what a guy! I <3 him!

That's amazing, because my brother and I have a similar age difference and still hate one another at 30 & 37. I hope it stays that sweet.

I am 14 years older than my youngest sister & we are best friends. No competition, no rivalry & we're the most alike of the four of us!

I have an older brother too. Mine are 8 and 12 years older than me. My brother that is 12 years older than me is my hero. All his friends loved me and I can remember being 5-7 years old (he was 17-19) and he would take me on dates with him because I would cry when he left. This brings back great memories. Thank you.

That is the sweetest thing ever. They look so "comfortable" and precious. That truly is a Kodak moment.

very sweet...we never had moments like this in my family growing up. However, I can kind of see it being a possiblity between my two boys because right now they ADORE each other! Although I'm sure that will change soon...

The stuffed Plankton in her lap lends a sort of menace to the scene however...
