Out of Order

Hello from Mr. Farklepants' laptop! My desktop died. It was sudden and unexpected. The Farklepants family requests that you respect their privacy during the grieving process.

Dramatic, much?

This does mean that I'll be forced to take a blog break until matters are remedied. But I will be back to posting once I'm up and running again. Which shouldn't be too long if Mr. Farklepants loves me at all and fixes it post haste!

Okay, so let's talk religion because politics is Zzzzzzz.

Mr. Farklepants: Jesus
Mrs. Farklepants' desktop: Lazarus

Mr. Farklepants, please raise Lazarus from the dead.

Excuse me now, I must go and pack my bag for Hell.

What's up with the sad computers? I've got two now, acting up.

I need the SuperGeeksquad.

It's not often that we wish for our husband's to work faster, but this might be a good spot for that.:-)

Would he spend it up if I came over and nagged at him?

Maybe you should get a laptop, too. Then you can blog in bed, on the couch, on the floor, in the bathroom, and even in the tub!

Hope you get up and running soon! I enjoy reading everything you write.

Sorry for your loss. Hopefully Mr. F absorbs your pain and gets you a super new version of your desk top so you can kick some blogging butt!

Dear Mr. Farklepants:

I am not sure if you are aware just how much we all rely on Mrs. Farklepants blog posts everyday. Sometimes more often if she has had an extra cup of coffee and lots to say. I urge you to fix her computer ASAP. Actually since she is such a wonderful wife...and I just know she is...why not go buy her a NEW fancy system. She would love it. And you know 'happy wife makes for happy life'.

This was me a month ago. TOTALLY LOST without my beloved. Geek Squad quoted $500+ to repair. Hubs bought $98 new hard drive and called maker of dead pc and gave them serial #. They sent NEW software for a total of $26 (included quick shipping) since we had already purchased the software with the computer originally. We were BOTH happy ;)! Although I still have years of pics stuck in dead hard drive limbo... at least I can post, and back up ALL NEW photos!

I work at a funeral home. I can help you with your grief and cut you a break on the funeral for your desktop...

I would ask, could you make it a redneck affair, because we haven't had enough rednecks in the funeral home this year...

You know, throw in a couple of short jean skirts, halter tops, tattoos, a little Lynard Skynard...do it up right!

When are the services?

Oh my goodness, I had no idea I was on the hook here.

Hmmm. Well the good news is I re-installed the OS last night and right before I went to bed it seemed to be working enough that TF could at least get online and post.

I still have a full nights work downloading all the updates, installing drivers and whatnot.

Anyway, Vintage Thirty should be good to go...

Please send offers of sexual favors in lieu of money.

...still on the laptop.

Yeah, about that install, the image on the screen was so huge kinda like a picture that hasn't been resized properly and had to use the up and down arrows just to read one sentence.

I'll be back soon. I'm promised.

So sorry to hear of your computer woes - just coming off of a 4-week stint of "what the HECK is wrong with my computer?!!!!?!?!!", I can relate.
