I'm Still Mom's Favorite

JCK at Motherscribe asked in one of the comments sections who this Dorothy Z person is that I keep attributing 99% of the photos I use on my blog. - somehow that sentence seems grammatically incorrect. I want to add a "to" at the end but don't want to go out on a preposition - I digress. Dorothy Z. is my lil' sis. She is number 3 out of 4 siblings. I am number 1. Oh, yes I am! SNAP! That photo above is an accurate portrayal. She is never without her camera. She is the family paparazzo. I don't even bother taking my camera or pictures anymore because my pictures suck large amounts of ass a) We are almost always together when the need for a camera arises, and 2) She takes way better pictures. As proof, I will show you some of her art. Can I do that? Can I show you? Would you like to see? Here:

Flowers smell sweeter when Nikon she is around.

Music plays when Nikon she enters a room.

Impromptu parties are thrown in Nikon's honor.

Food just tastes better when Nikon she's around. (Yeah, this category get's two. Cuz. YUM!)

Bullpens are less stinky. Oh. Mah. Gah. Did it ever smell bad. BAD!

Sheep asses are bluer. WTF? Can any of you farm savvy people clue me into the purpose of painting a sheep's butt blue? Inquiring city minds would like to know. Thanks in advance.

And 'peek-a-boo' isn't just a game for toddlers anymore, with Nikon Dorothy Z. around. So there ya have it. That is who she is and this is what she does. And I love her like she were my own. Thank you for beautifying my blog. Oh. And Dorth? Mom loves me the most.

She's quite a photographer! I esp. love the hole in the wall. Awesome!

I know the secret to blue butted sheep but am not sure you really want to know. Let's just say it's a part of the reproduction cycle.

Yeah, I was going to say the same thing. I know why the butts are blue, but I don't think you do. But if you really do, I'll tell you.

Great photos! Does she do that for a living? Cause if not, she should!

As for the blue butts, I *was* going to say to differentiate the males from the females but after reading Karen and ekb's comments, I'm not so sure.

Karen and ekb -- even if Tootsie doesn't want to know, *I* do!

Well, if you're sure you REALLY want to know . . . It's to tell which ewes (females) have gotten a little, well, "bow-chicha-wah-wah" if you know what I'm sayin'. When they put a bunch of rams (males) in with a bunch of ewes, they put chalk bags of different colors on the males so when they've done their thing they know which ewes have been - ahem, serviced - by which rams.

I told you you didn't want to know.

Oh, P.S. - Madame Queen, you don't need to mark them to tell which are male and which are female. They have different parts, and they don't wear underpants, you know.

Dorothy~ You're welcome! Sometimes I do nice things. :)

ekb~ Hi! Welcome! And, um. Ew. Color coded sheep porn. Learn something everyday. The next time I see a blue butt ewe I'm totally gonna high five her.

Madame Queen~ It's her hobby (passion) for now but she should!

Karen~ I love that whole in the wall pic too!

Dorothy is a great photographer. I am my family's paparazzo, but they don't write sweet homages like this.

(Also: I kind of wish they put the blue chalk on humans in bars and on college campuses. Just for everyone's edification.)

ekb -- Well, I meant being able to tell them apart *from a distance* but your comment totally cracked me up. And it reminded me of a friend of my mom's who thought you determined the sex of a kitten by looking at the bottom of it's feet (because we would always flip them over to tell if it was a boy or a girl!).
