She's Posting Twice in One Day! Someone Stop Her!

Colleen of Wine Please presented me with the I Love You This Much award! Please go and check her out! She's funny as heck and lives in Virginia, which is where my brother lives, so that practically makes us sisters. Or state-inlaws. Or something. Whatever, she's a hoot! This award is timely too because there's some bad blog juju going around this weekend. If you're interested you can read about it here and also addressed here. That is all I'm going to allude to say about that because it makes me sad.

So, without further ado, I'm going to spread some much needed love to fellow Mommybloggers and/or Women Who Blog.

Holly at June Cleaver Nirvana because I'd really like to see this award in her fruit bowl.

Burgh Baby's Mom because I'm in love with her daughter, Alexis. And my daughter is in love with Alexis and would like to play with her if only she didn't live 2500 miles away. Makes for a difficult play date.

OHMommy over at Classy Chaos because, aside from the fact that I adore her and her blog, she was also the victim of some blog abuse this weekend. Go show her some love!

We should be fostering a community of INCLUSION and not exclusion. Grown ups shouldn't have a problem sharing the sandbox.

**updated to add the link to Classy Chaos because it's easier to visit that way**

Well, I'm taking my pail and shovel and going home! Everyone's being so mean.

Who am I kidding? I'm addicted to the sandbox. I'll just ignore the meanies.

I feel like I was at a party and some huge thing happened while I was in the bathroom and I have no idea what is happening!

But I'm with you on the inclusion thing.

You'd think that people would have more things to do than pick on others. Go wash you hair or something!

Thanks so much for trying to combat all that nastiness in the sandbox. You rock.

Thank you sooooo much. I really appreciate it. I have been feeling a bit irritible all weekend about the smack down. I am so glad you linked to the Queen of Spain because hopefully that will help talk down some ledge jumpers.

Why can't we all just get along?

Thanks again. It is fruit bowl bound.

Congrats on your award. I love you *this* much too!

You sure know how to make a friend feel special!

Like Jenn, I had no idea about the drama, but I'm happy not to be directly involved.

I'm not sure why some people feel the need to be mean, but they are and it's a shame. The blogosphere should be a supportive place. A place where we can all be friends. Yes, that sounds a bit rainbows-and-unicorns, but I think it's a realistic fantasy.

I was totally with the Jen/ns in the bathroom on this one. You know what the men say, "They can't go by themselves."

Since I am somehwat new to blogging I had no idea that this trolling went on in the blogosphere until recently. It's sad really. To attack peoples personal blogs is weird and rude.
I love your blog and I love a lot of the ones you listed. They receive daily visits from me!

man, that kind of meanness demands a good, swift, kick-in-the-ass. I don't read Fussy, but dang, just the little I saw didn't seem any more like anyone else than anyone else I've read. Each (mommy)blogger I've encountered has her own voice. Women can be real bitches, eh? You'd think by now we'd realize it's better if we all get along and band together against the smelly men. Because, really, they're the real enemies, right? It is just me feeling like there's too much testosterone in my life? :)

p.s. glad you liked the bloggy bling...you deserve it!

So I get that everyone wants to vent and tell their story with a blog. What I don't get is the ENDLESS praise that you all seem to crave so much. What is with you folks? Did this come from your parents constantly telling you that your could do whatever you wanted (a lie) and praising you to high heaven every time you tied your shoes correctly?

The internet will soon be one giant cesspool of these awards being passed from one blog to another with no one addressing anything of importance.

Me thinks a few folks need to grow the f up.
