You Can Gauge the Way the Day Will Go When it Starts Like This

There can only be one explanation for this type of trash ransacking:

A certain, and fortunately very cute, dog with an affinity for the cardboard center of a toilet paper roll. One humans trash is a canines coveted treasure. I'm not even angry with her because all I can say is "Thanks be to Jesus that it's not my underwear"...again.

Oh shut up. You're so busted.

For the first time in over 40 years of owning dogs, we have 2 that don't dig in the trash, or trash our possessions. It's truly amazing. Once we had a cocker who would open the bread drawer and eat all the bread. She even opened it after we installed a child-proof latch. She really loved bread. (We changed to a bread box, on top of the counter.)

OMG, she is adorable.

Keep her away from your couch!

I was going to tell you to keep him away from the new coffee table legs.

Um, he's a she? So don't worry about the coffee table legs . . . ?

Have a great day!

I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who has the same addiction. Paper towel rolls work too. Fortunately, she can't get to the kitchen counters.

Your underwear? Tell me there are no stories of her bringing out the g-string during company.

Our dog thinks there's nothing better than an underwear snack at our house, too.

Unless it's actual food. I THINK he still prefers actual food, but I have no empirical evidence to back that up.

That last picture is hilarious.

Just be glad there were no feminine products involved.

Once again my great comment was already made by Mrs. G.

I have learned to empty the trash after all sleepovers!

Little kids and puppies. Both are often spared a harsh punishment due to cuteness overload.

I've never managed to catch our trash thief on film, so props to you.

Why do we put up with that kind of crap again? I forget.

I was worried with Mrs. G - could have been so much worse.

She still is cuter than my two hoodlums who unravel toilet paper rolls and also put things in their mouths...

our Ginger will randomly decide to steal trash from the bathroom can, chew on it right next to our bed where I can find it when i get up. All I have to do is ask, "what is this?" and she cowers and hides.
Or she'll pull my underwear out and then chew a bone while laying on the undies...so undies remained unchewed, but um, still soggy from her slobber with the chew bone.
